History

World Wide Project Management Services was established in 1996 as a consulting company specialising in project design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation. World Wide’s Directors brought with them a wealth of experience in international development through management of AusAID, UN and ADB-funded programs in education, governance, and health across Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East.

Over the ensuing years, World Wide has expanded into the primary industry sector with clients and partners in the South Australian and Commonwealth Governments and the law and justice sector, initially through a 2-year contract to implement the Legal Reform Program Facility in Indonesia. Building on its governance and public sector capacity development capability, World Wide managed a reform and capacity building program for AusAID in Nauru for 3 years. The program covered key economic sectors including infrastructure, fisheries, state owned enterprises, public sector finance and management, education and aid management. World Wide has continued to expand its network of Australian and international consultants in the key areas of expertise, with an emphasis on ensuring quality in all aspects of contract implementation. To date, World Wide has worked on 210 aid activities in 24 countries.

Over the years since its establishment, World Wide has also built on its training management capability, implementing in-Australia and in-country award courses and specialised training and capacity development programs in partnership with universities and TAFE organisations. The Company’s Directors and key staff have also provided technical inputs into many of these programs covering a diverse range of disciplines including human rights, regional economic development, courts administration, public finance management, legal documentation, nursing, early childhood teaching, and project identification and development. Since 2004, World Wide has delivered 15 training programs to 240 officials from the Government of Iraq on human rights and public financial management.
